Luis del Olmo and Luis Santana present this beautiful recital in homage to Federico García Lorca, accompanied on the piano by maestro Luis Carbajo. With one of the most unmistakable voices in radio history, pieces will be heard that blend music and some of the most famous works of the Granadian poet, such as "They Killed Him on a Summer Afternoon," "Moon Romance," "The Unfaithful Wife," or "The Young Men of Monleón Who Leave," alternating with songs performed by the baritone from Zamora and projections with images of Lorca's life.

This journalist from Ponferrada (León), is one of the most respected communicators in our country, considered a journalistic "institution".
His program "Protagonistas" is the longest-running in radio history, having surpassed 12,000 broadcasts.
His voice, strong, warm and always recognizable, has reached every Spanish household since he began his unstoppable career back in the 1960s.
In 1962, he began at Radio Nacional de España in Madrid; six years later, he moved to Barcelona, where he settled and took over the legendary "Protagonistas" on July 1, 1973.

In 1991, he launched "Onda Rambla", which led to the creation of a network of thirteen radio stations across Catalonia.
Since 1997, the "Protagonistas" awards have been presented in Barcelona, organized by Onda Rambla, where Luis del Olmo serves as host. After the closing gala, the famous "Botillo" from El Bierzo is served.
Among his awards are: five Ondas Awards, the Galicia Journalists Award from "Club Expopopress," where he was granted a silver badge and planted an elm tree (like his surname) in the Communication Park of Boiro. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate by the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.
He holds the prestigious Grand Cross of the Order of Alfonso X the Wise.
Luis Santana begins his musical studies at the age of five, studying with some of the greatest teachers such as Juana Penalver, Consuelo Barrio, María Teresa Manzano, Miguel Zanetti, and currently with the eminent Spanish tenor Pedro Lavirgen and with Teresa Berganza.
